Sodium hydroxide, also known as caustic soda, is a white solid substance with the chemical formula NaOH. It is produced through the electrolysis of sodium chloride solution in electrolytic cells. The purity of this product is at least 98.5%. Caustic soda is widely used in various industrial applications, including food and dairy processing, edible oil refining, metal industries (particularly aluminum and zinc), glass manufacturing, paper bleaching, leather and textile production, and the pharmaceutical industry.
